GOAL: To strengthen mutual understanding
and cooperation among US and foreign educational institutions
on specified themes of common interest to the US and to the
participating colleges and universities.
PROJECTS: proposals should benefit
both partners, and explain how the cooperation will enable
each of the institutions to address its own needs.

(including educational projects in the physical, technical
or health sciences, and the Teaching of English as
a Foreign Language).

- Participation is open to recognized
institutions of post-secondary education which may
include independent research institutes.

Elegibility: |
- not every country is eligible
every year, but approximately every 3 years. Uruguay
was eligible for FY2001 and is anticipated to be so
again for FY2004.

| Funding: |
- Up to U$S120.000 for may
be requested, and both participating institutions
must show cost-sharing in the program.
