These are 6 week courses which take place
during summer of the northern hemisphere. They are intended
for university faculty who teach courses with a content which
refers to the culture of the United States.

- US Foreign Policy: foundations and formulation
- Contemporary American Literature
- Religion: pluralism and public presence
- The US Constitution: origins, evolution and contemporary issues
- The Civilization of the US: an introduction
- US National Security in an Era of Globalization
The topics offfered may vary
every year, according to the available funding.

Requirements
|
- Hold a teaching position at university level
- Young or mid-career
- Teaching experience
- Little or no prior study in the US
- Currently teaching a course with content related to US culture
- Program relevance to the contents of those courses being taught by the candidate

grants. Selected candidates are notified in May, and travel
