applying to graduate schools in most areas except MBA programs,
take the Graduate Record Examination . There are two types of
GRE, the General Test and the Subject Tests. For more information,

GRE General Test: it measures verbal,
quantitative and analytical reasoning skills that have been
developed over the years, and are not related to any particular
field of study. It is administered on a computer.
| PLEASE NOTE:
As of October, 2002, the Analytical section will be substituted
by an Analytical Writing assessment, which will consist
of two essays. One of them will ask for the student's
perspective on an issue, the other will require the test
taker to critique an argument by discussing its logical
soundness. |
